IN PARQUE PUNTA DE LOBOS, WE HAVE AS OUR MAIN FOCUS TO PROTECT AND RESTORE THE SPACE IN PERPETUITY AND ENSURE FREE ACCESS.

Balancing the uses of the park with conservation and restoration efforts is a great challenge, which is why all the design processes and interventions are being addressed within the members of the community and users of the place. In this way, the real needs of the territory are raised in addition to generating greater involvement that will allow this space to be sustained in the long term.

The Park is a 2.2-hectare (5,5 acres) space that borders the Pacific Ocean in Punta de Lobos, where incredible long waves break, ideal for surfing, in the background there are some imposing cliffs full of sclerophyllous vegetation native to the central area. Annually this space is visited by more than 600,000 people, for whom the Parque Punta de Lobos has trails to reduce the effects of erosion and compaction as well as the services of Park Rangers for their care, an Information Center and ecological bathrooms.
