Participating in volunteer programs not only makes you an active part of environmental protection, but also strengthens your sense of belonging and responsibility toward the spaces we all share as a community, regardless of our role. Resident of Pichilemu, tourist, athlete, entrepreneur, among others.
Volunteer work is often linked to ecological restoration plans. In the area of native vegetation reproduction, tasks primarily include mulching, substrate preparation, plant movement, sowing and planting, weed control, and seed collection. Regarding soil restoration, activities include preparing and applying mulch to degraded soils, constructing infiltration ditches, surveying contours, and managing gullies, all aimed at reducing impact and soil loss.
Volunteers are also assigned to perform maintenance in the park, such as replacing stakes and ropes, maintaining signage, and cleaning, among others.
You’ll be added to our volunteer database and will begin receiving our volunteer opportunities, which you can apply for based on your availability. You can also check them through our social media @parquepuntadelobos.
In addition, you’ll stay up-to-date on all our activities in the park and become part of our valuable community of Punta de Lobos Park volunteers.
