COLLABORATOR

For PPL it is extremely important to create spaces for collaboration with those who share principles and values, which is why we create partnerships with various organizations and people seeking to empower ourselves collectively.

VOLUNTEERING

Caring for a place as iconic as Punta de Lobos entails many responsibilities, so the collaboration of our volunteers is essential for the park’s proper functioning.
This natural area not only harbors unique biodiversity but also represents an important cultural and tourist heritage site for the local community and visitors.
Volunteering offers an invaluable opportunity to engage the community in conservation activities, environmental education, and environmental improvements.

We invite you to join our network and stay tuned for the volunteer activities we are constantly organizing.

Why be a volunteer?

Participating in volunteer programs not only makes you an active part of environmental protection, but also strengthens your sense of belonging and responsibility toward the spaces we all share as a community, regardless of our role. Resident of Pichilemu, tourist, athlete, entrepreneur, among others.

What does a volunteer do?

Volunteer work is often linked to ecological restoration plans. In the area of native vegetation reproduction, tasks primarily include mulching, substrate preparation, plant movement, sowing and planting, weed control, and seed collection. Regarding soil restoration, activities include preparing and applying mulch to degraded soils, constructing infiltration ditches, surveying contours, and managing gullies, all aimed at reducing impact and soil loss.

Volunteers are also assigned to perform maintenance in the park, such as replacing stakes and ropes, maintaining signage, and cleaning, among others.

What happens after I sign up?

You’ll be added to our volunteer database and will begin receiving our volunteer opportunities, which you can apply for based on your availability. You can also check them through our social media @parquepuntadelobos.

In addition, you’ll stay up-to-date on all our activities in the park and become part of our valuable community of Punta de Lobos Park volunteers.

1% FOR PUNTA DE LOBOS

Collaboration for Conservation

Punta de Lobos is one of the main tourist attractions in the O’Higgin region, being visited by more than 600 thousand people a year, who not only contemplate its extraordinary ecosystem, but also contribute to the development of local economies, empowering entrepreneurs, gastronomy and hospitality. Taking care of this space and taking responsibility for its conservation over time to continue growing together as a community requires the involvement of everyone.

We invite you to be part of the care and conservation of Punta de Lobos, donating 1% of your annual sales.

Why donate?

  1. Direct impact: Your contribution will finance projects of the Ecological Restoration, Hiking and Infrastructure and Education plan.
  2. Social responsibility: By donating, your company demonstrates its commitment to sustainability and the well-being of the community, strengthening its image and reputation.
  3. A Lasting Legacy: With your support, we help protect the Park’s rich biodiversity, ensuring its beauty and resources are preserved for future generations.
