The backbone of the Punta de Lobos project is its open park, protected in perpetuity.

Balancing the uses of the park with conservation efforts is a great challenge. So, all designs are being addressed with members of the community and park users. This will bring to light the real needs of the territory so that the area is sustainable in the long term.

ENVIRONMENTAL INTERPRETATION PLAN

The interpretative information panels in the park are intended to protect and restore natural and social attributes that the community and Punta de Lobos Foundation identified as the values required for social wellbeing.

The informative panels in the park are intended to protect and restore natural and social attributes that the community and Punta de Lobos Foundation identified as the values required for social wellbeing. We want these panels to provide tools for visitors and locals to justify the conservation and protection of the place, educate others, and thus move towards conservation of the coast.

In this project we recycled railroad ties, demolition lumber and more than 1,000 aluminum cans. The interpretative information panel plan was designed by TRIVAL. Illustrations by Antonia Lara (www.antonialarag.com)
